Our Love
Story
We met at the end of 2020, smack in the middle of a global pandemic—because what better time to fall in love than during a lockdown, right? Match.com brought us together, and after a few Zoom dates (complete with questionable Wi-Fi and awkward lighting), we knew something special was happening. Our first in-person date? Straight-up magic. Fast-forward through lots of laughs, takeout dinners, and dog-approved hangouts, and we knew we were in it for life. We got engaged in April 2025—and now, we’re getting married!

About Rich
Richard was born in Connecticut and spent most of his early years in New Hampshire. At 18, he moved to Florida to study law—because fishing full-time apparently needed a backup plan. These days, he’s proudly known as the best fisherman-lawyer in the Middle Keys (possibly the only one, but still). He shares his days with two legendary dogs: Hooper, the brains of the operation, and Cha Cha, a lovable nutcase with zero chill.
About Paula
Paula grew up in Colombia, drifting between the misty mountains of Manizales and the lively hum of Bogotá. After a spontaneous six-year tropical “pause” in Panama—where she allegedly went for a weekend—she eventually arrived in Boca Raton to earn her MFA. She maintains the beach was her unofficial thesis advisor.
A successful and seasoned business owner, Paula has put in more than enough work, hustle, and strategy to retire into the life she once scheduled on vision boards. Now she enjoys her well-earned era of refinement: spending her days with her adored dogs, opening champagne with the same nonchalance others apply to opening mail, and treating leisure like a profession she has impeccably mastered.
